QCAA 2008 SEASON ENDS

The QCAA Basketball Tournament ends this October. As well as the basketball program of JCSGO Christian Academy. This year's tournament proved to be strong in terms of participation of more schools. Skillful and talented players abounds the tournament. And with this, we would like to thank all the parents of the TEAM JCA PIGEONS for their undying support of letting their sons play for the school. For the all out support of Mam Elba and Mam Nida during our games. And for the inspiration of Mam Cynthia for the program.

To Carl David Managuelod get well soon. To the players keep in shape play alone or with the group. Maybe we will have a tournament of sort within the school year. I'll be missing you a lot. To the prospective players, enroll at the Milo BEST Center this summer at least 2 levels. To enjoy discount, enroll as a team and maybe we will have two tournament next season. Rookies are also advised to enroll.

Was This Game a Chance?

Our game with St Patrick would I say the best of the season. With no let up the boys put in points on the second and third quarter of the game. Even those who have not scored for the last 5 games scored in this game. Our opponent have also improved for this game. They passed quiet good. But alas lady luck is on our side this time. Final score 46 - 22.

When Time Goes Pfft.

Time goes pfft when we are in the verge of coming up with the opponent. The recent game against Siena proves that we can come up with a good fight if the combination is right. Due to some disciplinary actions on some players we have to contend to those who are practicing regularly. We are tailing the opponent all the way from 1st quarter up to the last by almost 10 points. Up until the last 10 seconds, we are 4 points behind. But luck is not on our side..... maybe next year. The score 35 -30.
